GRADUATE’S  FINAL  PROJECTS that inspire & may make you tear up…

The honest truth is every single graduate’s final project is incredible and changes lives. I am not exaggerating.

One of the things I love so much about our 2nd year students creating a project is that it showcases their unique gifts, passions and how our tradition of healing and the tools of folk medicine and Earth magick bloom through each of us so uniquely.

It is shown that the ecosystems that are most resilient to environmental damage are those that are the most diverse. One pest can kill a mono crop field, but biodiversity creates health, resilience and beauty.

Similarly, the diversity of our coven is what makes these creations such an exquisite garden of expression. Our work with the plants connects us deeper to the Earth and to who we are, and this just fosters more diversity, truth, passion and purpose.

Below is a selection of a few projects from last year’s graduates - each a 2 minute video.

They showcase the three focus points year 2 students can choose from: Earth activism & community healing, Earth based spirituality & the Mythic, and Holistic Anatomy & Medicine Making.

In addition to the final projects all of our certified herbalists have completed a year of mentoring first year students, have received training on how to hold circle and ceremony, have formulated herbal medicine for each season and system of the body, and have written reflections and essays.

Taking the Apprenticeship for the first year is a magical process of unraveling from the linear modern culture that pushes us out of our most vital center and truth. It is a deeply nourishing experience - a nervous system reboot, a physical herbal tune up, a loving embrace of safe and sacred community and kin. It is a falling in love with the Earth, ourselves and Spirit, a remembering of who we are.

Some students continue for a second year (or more!) to go deeper in their integration, receive certification, and create something for their family, community, or the world!

This video shows the following projects…

  • Andrea created a herbal healing retreat for the risk youth she works with  - I love this one and tear up each time!

  • Lara transformed her lawn into a native garden, creating a pollinator oasis and a community hub for tea drinking in her neighborhood..

  • Aubrey created a medicine bag honoring the healing of her inner child that took place during her journey with the plants.

  • Aria created medicine & a journey for pregnant mothers, with the tools she wished she had when she was pregnant.

  • Nazdira offered an herbal summer camp for kids in her community.

  • Larissa connected deeper with the spirit of the land by courting a wild meadow near her home & creating seasonal mandalas and art.

  • Clara created Ayurvedic medicine kids for each dosa supporting women’s reproductive & digestive health …

…. and these are just a handful that we share with you…

As you can see, our graduates are doing incredible work in their communities!

Many of them are on scholarships and are in need of support to make it to their graduation ceremony.
